I started preparing for the Academy competition on July 12, 2015. I stopped on December 19 at 11:40 a.m., forty minutes before the end of the drawing test. They took me anyway.
Here is what happened in the gym. I had place 88, front row, under the light. The cast was well placed for me. At 11:40 I laid the charcoal on the ledge of the easel and sat down on the stool, hands on my knees. The invigilator came past twice. The second time he looked at my board and seemed embarrassed for me. I handed in a bust with no neck and no background.

For the track I had ticked there was an interview, in February, twenty minutes, three teachers, a table and three glasses of water. Sixty points. I got fifty-eight.
